"Skyrim" Salmon Steak

Good Afternoon Gamers!

Today is another installment of C4N - Skyrim Edition!

I have come up with a delicious take on their Salmon Steak! While their's looks good, I took it a step further.

Skyrim Salmon Steak
Restore +10 Health




The Goods:


  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Olive Oil For drizzling 
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 8 lemon slices (about 2 lemons)
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced/Chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine (or white wine)
  • 4 teaspoons capers
  • 4 pieces of aluminum foil


Tutorial:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit. 

  • Drizzle top and bottom of salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt & pepper.
  • Place each piece of seasoned salmon on a piece of foil large enough to fold over and seal. 
  • In A bowl mix together the capers, garlic, lemon juice, and Marsala wine.
  • Top the each piece of salmon with a couple tablespoons of the caper, lemon, garlic mixture.
  • Wrap up salmon tightly in the foil packets.
  • Bake in oven for 20 minutes.


I added Broccoli and Cauliflower with Brown Rice for a more filling meal.

CFN's Interpretation of a "Royale With Cheese" Pulp Fiction




CFN's Interpretation of a "Royale With Cheese" from Pulp Fiction

Time: 45minutes
Serves: 4
Level: Noob



  • The Goods:

  • For Burgers:
  • 12 frozen onion rings
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, preferably chuck
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for the grill
  • 4 slices yellow cheddar cheese
  • 4 Hamburger Buns Split
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
For Chili:
2/3 cupOnion; finely chopped
1 poundGround beef
1/3 cupWhite vinegar
1/3 cupSugar
1/3 tablespoonSalt (you can add more to taste)
1 1/3 tablespoonCelery salt
2 ouncestomato puree
1 1/3 tablespoonChili powder
1 teaspoonPepper


Tutorial:

For the Burgers:
Prepare the onion rings as the label directs; keep warm.Meanwhile, preheat a grill to medium high.
Form the beef into four 6-ounce patties, about 3/4 inch thick; press the center of each patty with your thumb to make a 1/2-inch-deep indentation.
Season the patties on both sides with salt and pepper.
Lightly brush the grill grates (or stove griddle) with vegetable oil, then grill the patties, indentation-side up, until marked on the bottom, about 5 minutes.
Flip and cook until marked and slightly firm, about 3 more minutes.
During the last minute of grilling, top each patty with a slice (Or two) of cheese.
Remove the patties to a plate and let rest 5 minutes.
Grill the buns, cut-side down, until lightly toasted, about 1 minute.
Top the bun bottoms with the burger patties, chili and onion rings.
Drizzle with the barbecue sauce, then cover with the bun tops.

For the Chili:
Add 1 tablespoon canola/vegetable oil to a saucepan, add the onion and saute' 3-4 minutes over medium heat until translucent, then add the ground beef and cook until well done.
Drain grease from saucepan, then add remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring often, until desired consistency.
